Dr Arif Kozgar

Dr. Arif Kozgar is a general paediatrician with an
unwavering commitment to providing the best
possible care to his patients. Arif received his
Fellowship in general paediatrics from the Royal
Australian College of Physicians after completing his
training at the renowned Children’s Hospital of
Westmead in Sydney. In 2018, Arif brought his
expertise and passion for paediatric care to regional
Victoria, where he has served as a consultant
paediatrician at Latrobe Regional Health (LRH). But
his contributions to the field doesn’t stop there – he is
also an associate fellow of the Royal College of
Administrators and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at
Monash University.
Arif’s commitment to evidence-based care and
innovative practices is a driving force evident in his
work at LRH. He has played a pivotal role in
developing numerous clinical practice guidelines and
established innovative practices such as insulin pump
therapy for diabetes patients and oral
immunotherapy for hay fever patients.
He has completed several quality improvement
projects, and his contributions to research in the field
published.
With extensive experience in all paediatric
conditions, including neonatology, growth and
development, asthma, infectious diseases, ADHD and
autism, tongue tie resection, and, special interest in
allergic conditions including oral immunotherapy for
allergic rhinitis and paediatric endocrine problems,
Arif possesses the comprehensive knowledge and
expertise to handle a wide range of paediatric health
issues.

Dr Asmita Mankeshwar

Dr Asmita Mankeshwar is working as a Paediatrician at Latrobe regional hospital and Maryvale Private Hospital on a weekly basis.

Asmita completed substantial part of her training in Victoria with her main areas of interest with newborns, allergy, developmental, rehabilitation issues, diabetes and general Paediatrics.

Asmita is involved in teaching at various levels from undergraduate to advanced trainees. Her areas of focus are simulation training, medical education and regional workforce sustainability. Timely, efficient and high-quality care is her goal. Asmita enjoys a close working relationship with primary care providers while family centred care is at the heart her clinical practice.
