Administration/ Computer Clerk- Operating Suite
Position: Part Time and Casual positions
 Part Time and Casual RolesThe RoleOur caring team of professionals from the technical, nursing, and support services are all focused on providing the best service, care and clinical outcomes for our patients. The Administration/Computer Clerk is an Integral member of the Operating Suite Team and is the first point of contact for all hospital visitors in the Operating Suite.The successful candidate is required to provide professional management of the Operating Suite reception area, providing efficient and effective clerical services including prompt response to all enquiries and administrative and medical record support.Competencies required:

  • Develop and foster positive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external customers.

Essential:

Desirable:
  • Current or previous administration experience within the Private Health sector.
  • Administration qualifications.
  • Medical Terminology Certificate

Position: Central Sterilisation Supply Department (CSSD) Technician- Casuals
Casual PositionsThe RoleWe are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced  CSSD Technicians to join our friendly, supportive Operating Theatre Team who pride themselves on delivering high quality patient care.Reporting to the Operating Theatre Manager the CSSD Technician assists in the delivery of patient care under the direction of the nursing and medical staff.  The CSSD Technician is exposed to a broad range of complex acute and medical services that Maryvale Private Hospital provides.Essential Criteria
  • Exceptional Interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel.
  • Strong teamwork focus.
  • Effective time Management or organisational skills.
  • Commitment to quality and risk management.
Desirable Criteria
  • Current CSSD Technician experience within the health sector.
  • Experience in maintaining and using relevant CSSD Equipment.
  • Certificate III in Health Services Assistant, or studying towards.
  • Certificate III in Sterilisation or above.

Work life Balance | Great shift variety | Self Rostering | Experienced Supportive Team EnvironmentMaryvale Private Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses (RN’s) to join our friendly, supportive Medical/Surgical Ward Team on morning, afternoon and night duty shifts who pride themselves on delivering high quality patient care.We are also seeking Nurses with demonstrated experience in Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics and Recovery to join our dedicated and friendly Operating Theatre Team.As a valued staff member at MPH you will play a key role in providing the best possible outcomes for our patients by providing the absolute best possible care.Successful applicants must be suitably experienced and have a commitment to providing excellent standards of care and exceptional communication skills, while working in a supportive team environment. Applicants need to be flexible and adaptable and have an ongoing commitment to professional development and education.

Essential criteria for all roles:

  • Relevant experience in Medical and/or Surgical setting
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Commitment to ensuring the levels of service to patients is always of a high standard
  • Demonstrate excellence in verbal and written communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels
  • Ability to work efficiently in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Be innovative and adaptable to change processes

Desirable criteria for both positions:
  • Current acute medical and/or surgical nursing experience within the Private Health sector.
