The RoleMaryvale Private Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Hospital Educator to join our friendly, supportive team.The Hospital Educator is primarily responsible to provide education services for both Non-Clinical and Clinical employees. The role encompasses assisting the Quality, Risk  & Education Coordinator with compliance to ensure all employees meet  required education standards relevant to their role and department who pride themselves on delivering high quality patient care. This role has a high focus on delivering face to face education and support in a clinical setting.Successful applicants must be suitably experienced and have a commitment to providing excellent standards of care and exceptional communication skills, while working in a supportive team environment.Essential Criteria:
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Broad clinical nursing experience
  • Commitment to ensuring the levels of service to patients is always of a high standard
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and digital communication skills, advanced computer skills and use of software applications to develop and deliver education
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to show initiative and self-direction
  • Demonstrated commitment to own professional development to maintain, improve and broaden knowledge, expertise, competence and capability
Desirable Criteria:
  • Current or previous experience as a Hospital Educator
  • Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience
  • Tertiary qualification in speciality practice
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • ALS Competent – Adult +/- Paediatric
  • Demonstrated curriculum development and/or project planning skills and/or facilitating interprofessional learning
  • Current acute medical and surgical nursing experience within the Private Health sector.

Work life Balance | Great shift variety | Self Rostering | Experienced Supportive Team EnvironmentMaryvale Private Hospital is seeking Registered and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (RN’s and EENs) to join our friendly, supportive Medical/Surgical Ward Team on morning, afternoon and night duty shifts who pride themselves on delivering high quality patient care.We are also seeking Nurses with demonstrated experience in Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics and Recovery to join our dedicated and friendly Operating Theatre Team.As a valued staff member at MPH you will play a key role in providing the best possible outcomes for our patients by providing the absolute best possible care.Successful applicants must be suitably experienced and have a commitment to providing excellent standards of care and exceptional communication skills, while working in a supportive team environment. Applicants need to be flexible and adaptable and have an ongoing commitment to professional development and education.

Essential criteria for all roles:

  • Relevant experience in Medical and/or Surgical setting
  • Current registration with AHPRA
