GP Liaison – Permanent Part Time Opportunity available

We are seeking an energetic and innovative person with a strong communication focus and effective customer service skills to join our team.  The  GP Liaison will provide education and information to General Practitioners (GPs) using primarily face-to-face methods, to ensure local GPs have a thorough understanding of the comprehensive range of services and specialists available at the Hospital

Essential Criteria:

  • Knowledge of, or previous experience in, health care
  • Experience working with GPs and insight into their requirements
  • Possession of an understanding of the needs and aspirations of VMOs
  • Effective interpersonal skills and good personal and professional presentation skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Strong customer service skills and an ability to remain calm and focussed on outcomes required
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Integrity and commitment to the maintenance of confidentiality
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft programs (ie. Word, Excel, Outlook)

Stores Person Trainee Part time contract – Immediate Start

We are currently seeking a motivated Trainee Stores person who will assist in all aspects of goods in and out throughout the Hospital and displays excellent customer service skills.

The stores person is an important role within the Hospital setting and works across all departments.

The position will be reporting to the Stores Supervisor and an immediate start for the right candidate.

As a Stores Trainee your responsibilities will include;

  • Check and unpack orders
  • Unloading deliveries
  • Processing deliveries
  • Stock take
  • Handling phone enquiries

Our ideal candidate will be a motivated and focused individual who is looking to find a career, not just a job. You should have;

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

  • Eager to learn and able to take direction and feedback

We are currently seeking Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our friendly, supportive team on day afternoon and  night duty who pride themselves on delivering high quality patient care. The Registered or Enrolled Nurse will be suitably qualified and experienced to join our friendly team to deliver direct patient care in the hospital setting.

  • Current experience in Medical and/or Surgical setting
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Flexible with hours
  • Weekend and Night work
  • Demonstrate excellence in verbal and written communication skills
