HR Advisor – Maternity Leave replacement; June 2017 – February 2018

Maryvale Private Hospital is a 46 bed, acute medical/surgical hospital located in Morwell and serving the regional community of Gippsland.

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor who will assist in the delivery of effective, accurate and timely advice to Managers and Employees across the Hospital. The role manages all aspects of HR including updating policy, recruitment and selection, learning and development, performance management and facilitating organisational change.

Essential Criteria:

  • Working knowledge of HR and workplace relations legislation
  • Sound judgement and decision making skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all clinical  and non-clinical personnel
  • Effective Time Management and Organisational skills
  • Genuine interest and desire to help people
  • Must be flexible in work days/hours of the week
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role

Desirable Criteria:

  • Current experience within the Health Sector
  • Qualification in Human Resources Management
